Welcome to Bay Cove Townhomes, another townhome community in the Short Pump area, adjacent to Wilde Lake. This townhome community is a contemporary styled neighborhood, located off Causeway and Lauderdale in Henrico County, Virginia.
The units in this neighborhood were built in 2 phases: the first phase, in which the majority of homes are located in, was built between 1987 and 1989. A second phase, with a smaller number of units, was built in 1995 and, although contemporary, have a different layout than those that you find in the original section. Over the years, many of these units have been renovated. There are 2 level units, with an open floor plan on the lower level as well as half bath and fireplace, while the upstairs level has 2 suites, making it ideal for roommates. The 3 level units are the same layout as the 2 level units, except that there is a lower level with a walk out patio or deck space, and a third bedroom and full bath as well as a great room area, again making this a great layout for rentals or families.
The units range from 1250 SF for the two level units to over 1900 SF for the three level units. A number of units do front onto Wilde Lake, giving a great waterview to these homeowners.
All units have assigned parking spaces - there are no garages. But there is plenty of guest parking spaces throughout the community.
The HOA fee (as of March 2022) is $245/month and there is an additional mandatory fee to Wilde Lake HOA of $149/year. The HOA fee includes exterior maintenance, snow removal, trash removal, yard maintenance and the pool. Homeowners here can also take advantage of the amenities of Wilde Lake, including non motorized boating and catch and release fishing. There is a dock to allow you to put in your boat or to go fishing from.
The schools in this area are: Nuckols Farm Elementary, Pocahontas Middle and Godwin High.
