First off - thank you if you have chosen me to help you! I'm excited to be on this journey with you. Now that we're officially working together, it's time to get your home ready for the market! Here's what comes next:
A Little Paperwork - Selling a home does involve some paperwork (I promise to make it as painless as possible).
Your "Top 10" List - I'd love for you to create a Top 10 list of reasons you love living in your home. Not things buyers can see - your amazing kitchen for example - but those special, personal touches only you would know! Think: beautiful sunsets through the living room windows, the peace and quiet of the neighborhood, friendly neighbors, etc! I'll use your list in my marketing to help buyers connect emotionally with your home!
Choose Your Go Live Date - Let me know when you would like your home to officially hit the market. I'll need one week's notice to get everything lined up on my end - photos, marketing, MLS listing, and more!
Prep The House - Before we go live, you'll want to: declutter as much as possible, tackle any small repairs you have been putting off, and giving your home a deep clean (or consider having it professionally cleaned - it's worth it!)
Facebook Privacy Check - This one's important: update your Facebook (and any other public social media) privacy settings so only friends can see your posts. We want to avoid giving buyers clues about your personal situation - like a new job, a growing family or a big move! Oversharing online can unintentionally weaken our negotiating power. You can mention your home is for sale - just skip the "why" for now!
Once you've checked off everything above, let me know - I'll send over the next steps and keep things moving forward!
I'm here for any questions along the way! Let's get your home sold!
